DISNEY SITES AND PLANNING
yourfirstvisit.net – I regularly refer to this site when planning Disney trips. They have a great page breaking down the value season dates (aka the cheapest dates!) to visit, as well as tons of other helpful hints and tips to get you to Disney while saving a couple of bucks!
Walt Life – Walt Life subscription boxes bring the magic of Disney parks straight to your home! Each month you get a selection of Disney and Disney park items. Snack and pin boxes are also available. Check out my review on them here!
Mickey Monthly – Another fantastic subscription box for all your Disney fans! They have many customizable options, including Disney food boxes and Disney pins! I did a review on them as well, check it out!
wdwnews.com – This website is THE go to place for Disney stock photos. This site, hosted by the Disney company, is made SPECIFICALLY for bloggers who are looking for photos to enhance their posts. The copyright for these photos are made specifically for sharing, so you don’t have to worry about the legal aspects of using Disney photos. An absolute MUST on your bookmark list!
WEB BUILDING
SiteGround – this is the web hosting site I use to run my blog. Their customer service is AMAZING – I had a slight hiccup with my sign up, and I was able to get it resolved in less than FIVE minutes via their customer service chat! They’re easy to use, especially for someone with no background in domains or hosting a blog. Give them a try if you’re thinking of making the jump and starting your own site! For info on how I did it, check out my blogging start up guide here.
ConvertKit – this is the ONLY subscription email service you need. You get two weeks free when you sign up to figure out how to really grow your email list, and it is amazing for creating automated sequences to set up classes, lessons and more through your email list.
BLOGGING TOOLS
Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing – This super popular course is THE course to take if you’re looking to increase your affiliate earnings. This course is quick but incredibly informative, and the successes speak for themselves! If your ultimate goal is to earn passive income with your site, you absolutely HAVE to check out this course. Check out my review of the course here!
WP Tasty – This amazing company makes some of the best plugins in the business. My personal favorite, Tasty Pins, helps optimize my images for Pinterest so I never have to worry about a bad pin being created from a visitor to my site! They have many other plugins that really optimize your blog to its highest potential. They also have great recipe plugins and plugins to help with links!
Pinterest Primer – This FREE 5 day webinar by Moms Make Cents is amazing and will totally up your Pinterest game. After following the steps outlined here, my Pinterest traffic SKYROCKETED – and, by extension, my blog traffic! Check it out if you’re a complete Pinterest newbie like I was, I guarantee it’ll give you great information, and since it’s free, what have you got to lose?!
Tailwind – This is the only official Pinterest endorsed scheduler out there and for good reason – this has allowed me to post DOZENS of pins a day without even thinking about it! Their tribes feature also helps you connect with other bloggers and gain exposure through their followers, maxing out your traffic potential! The best part? Your first 100 pins are TOTALLY FREE!
MONEY SAVING SITES
eBates (now known as Rakuten) – You’ve probably heard about this amazing cash back site, and if you haven’t signed up yet, get on that NOW! If you do a ton of online shopping (like most people do) you could be earning cash back on hundreds of stores. If you sign up using my link, you’ll get $10 back after spending $25! They also have a super helpful Google Chrome plug in that scans each online store you visit to see if you can get cash back – and then reminds you to activate it so you never miss out on a deal!
PHOTO EDITING
Vanilla PSDs – this tumblr is chock full of amazing PSDs to help you edit your pictures if you’re using Photoshop. PSDs are essentially Photoshop files that contain all the layers used to edit that particular photo. This is super convenient because rather than play with the values and adjustment layers yourself, you can just drag and drop the PSD folder from the original file onto the one you’re editing. Viola! Coloring DONE! Be sure to follow all instructions on the post of whatever PSD you are downloading to assure credit is given to the artist.
